The Pomfret Food Pantry located in the Pomfret Senior Center will be open from 5:30-6:30 pm. 

Gamblers Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. at TEEG in North Grosvenordale. 

Bingo will be held at the Garden City Baptist Church in Ballouville. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the first game begins at 6:30 p.m 

The Northeast Connecticut Farmers Market will be held at the Putnam Farmer’s Market Pavilion on Kennedy Drive in Putnam from 3:30-6 p.m. 

Quinebaug Middle College New Student Orientation will be held at QVCC Danielson Campus from 8a-1p.

The Pomfret Croquet Club will meet from 10a-1p at Pomfret Recreation Park. All are welcome to attend.

The 2014 5K Fun Runs will be held at the West Thompson Dam beginning at 6:15 p.m.

The Brooklyn Historical Society Museum and the Daniel Putnam Tyler Law Office b will be open from 1-5 p.m. Admission is free to either museum. For more information call 860-774-7728.

The Brooklyn Fair opens at 4 p.m. Come on down for great food, games, rides, exhibits, animals, and live entertainment with Eric Paslay at 8 p.m. Admission is $10, kids 12 and under are free.

The Brooklyn Fair opens at 8 a.m. Come on down for great food, games, rides, exhibits, animals, and live entertainment with Danielle Bradbery at 8 p.m. Admission is $10, kids 12 and under are free   Seniors pay just $6 today only.

Tri State Cruisers presents Saturday Night Cruisin at the Loos and Company at the corer of Routes 169 and 101 from 3 p.m.-dark. Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.

The Northeast Connecticut Farmers Market will be held at the Killingly Public Library in Danielson from 9a-12 noon.

A Come As You R Worship Service will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, route 6 in Brooklyn at 5 p.m. A contemporary worship service will be held followed by a free cookout.

Native American Storytelling with Phillip “Firewalker” Pollier will be held at Phelps Pond on Main Street in North Grosvenordale from 5-6 p.m.

A fundraiser Benefit will be held at the Music Lady Café in Moosup at 1 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person, $25 a couple and include a potluck buffet, raffles and DJ. Proceeds benefit the family of Matthew Regula. For tickets call Carie at 860-481-0474.
