The 19th Annual Christmas in August Toy Run to benefit the Children at the Children’s Medical Center in Hartford will be held beginning at the AMVET Riders in Brooklyn. Registration is from 8-10 a.m. and the ride takes off at 10 a.m. A Chicken BBQ Bash with live entertainment with Johnny Press Mess will follow at the AMVETS in Brooklyn. Cost is $15 and a new toy.
