Daily Bread Food Pantry will be open from12:00-1:30 p.m. 

The Pomfret Food Pantry located in the PomfretSeniorCenter will be open from 5:30-6:30 pm. 

Gamblers Anonymous will meet at 7 p.m. at TEEG in North Grosvenordale. 

Bingo will be held at the Garden City Baptist Church in Ballouville.  Doors open at 4 p.m. and the first game begins at 6:30 p.m.  Come on down for games, food, sealed tickets, prizes, progressive games and more. 

Kids Movie on the Big Screen will be held at the Thompson Public Library at 1 p.m.  Free and open to the public. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Light refreshments are allowed.

A Fisherman’s Breakfast will be held at the Oneco Fire Department at 5 a.m.  Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children. 

A Free Community Shred Day will be held at the citizens National Bank in Putnam from 9a-12 noon. Up to 2 boxes will be accepted per household. 

An All You Can Eat Steak Supper will be held at the Eastford Firehouse at 6:30 p.m.  Tickets are $20 per person and available by calling 860-974-0256. 

Mexican Night will be held at the Danielson Elks beginning at 6 p.m.  Tickets are $12 per person and include an all you can eat buffet. 

The Annual Easter Eggstravaganza will be held at CrosswayChurch in Putnam from 10a-12 noon.  Come on down for moon walk, pet live farm animals, face painting, egg hunt and more. 

A Fisherman’s Breakfast will be held at the Putnam Fish & Game Club from 5:30-10:30 a.m.  Cost is $6 per person. 

A Free Shred Day will be held at the Coreplus Federal Credit Union in Plainfield from 9a-12 noon. 

A Book Drive will be held at WINY Radio in Putnam from 9a-12 noon.  All donations benefit building a library in Malawi Africa. 

CommunityGarden Day at the Last Winter Farmer’s Market of the season will be held at the Killingly Grange beginning at 9 a.m.  There will breakfast, Easter Egg Hunt and more.  A Farmer’s Breakfast will be served from 8a-12. Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for kids.
